Nadia loves the tale of Red riding hood…I showed her our holiday storyboard of “Red Riding hood” from a few years back and she immediately wanted to re-create it again. Maybe later, for now lets be content with some painting and pretend play!

Nadia painted Little Red and the wolf.

We then laid out the scene. The milk bottle house became Grandma’s cottage. A previous peg woman became the grandma. She added the trees from her cars scene.

In this version, Little Red and the wolf are really pals and they share the picnic basket with Grandma. We have been talking about making a Red riding hood shadowbox next.
