Green is the color for today. We decided to make a tiny forest for Nadia’s dinosaurs to explore. We drew some tree shapes on index papers and Nadia painted them.
For the tree trunks, we used a paper tower roll. Nadia painted it part brown and part green. Then, we cut it into pieces.
Once the trees dried, Nadia added some apples onto the trees.
Then Nadia cut all the shapes out.
I just love the concentration on her face here.
Finally, here are all our pieces. Next step, lets put them together.
Here Nadia is fitting the trees into the trunks.
Here’s the final version of the forest (it turned out to be more of an apple grove 🙂
Nadia had a great time playing all morning.
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
Aruna
